Our hotel at the heart of the village welcomes you into this peaceful environment at the foot of a river. From our place, you can enjoy all sorts of activities and days out, whether along the coast or up in the hills. The village of Pégomas enjoys an excellent climate. In summer, the Mediterranean breeze blows through the Siagne Valley to provide a maritime freshness, while the warm summer nights have their edge taken off them by the north wind. It was in this plain where Pégomas was built by Italian families in the 16th century, planting olive trees, vines and fruit trees, and bringing all their expertise in the cultivation of aromatic plants like the mimosa. As ever before, in winter the hills are covered in this plant’s yellow flowers, imparting a sweet fragrance throughout the region. Pégomas is one of the stops on the Route d’Or, the route dedicated to this iconic flower.
