Our hotel near Cannes

The Hotel Le Bosquet is located 10 km from the town centre of Cannes, with its Le Suquet neighbourhood and its Boulevard de la Croisette. Located on the Golfe de la Napoule, a glorious bay at the foot of the Massif de l’Estérel, Cannes is well sheltered by a string of hills. It owes its fame and glory to the beauty of its natural surroundings, its warm climate, and the splendour of the festivals and events held here. A world capital of cinema, it has hosted its famed International Film Festival every May since 1946. The world of film has made this former fishing village a star, ensuring wide recognition of the town's rich natural and cultural heritage.

There’s a lot to do on a visit to Cannes. A spot of shopping never goes amiss, as does a simple stroll through this elegant and attractive town where the art of entertaining is a tradition.
Head to La Croisette along the sea. Formerly the old Chemin de la Petite Croix footpath, it is now the most famous promenade of the Côte d’Azur. Decorated with floral gardens full of unique fragrances and wonderful palm trees, and dotted with grand hotels, luxury boutiques and fine sandy beaches, it’s a hot spot for locals in winters as well as tourists in summer. At the start of the Boulevard de la Croisette is the Palais des Festivals, the site of the Film Festival, the MIDEM trade show, and major concerts and shows. It also houses four casinos.

Cannes’ soul blossoms in Le Suquet, a hill that forms the heart of the town. A perfect view point for admiring the bay and the Boulevard de la Croisette bordering it, this area is the oldest neighbourhood in Cannes and combines Provençal charm and village authenticity. A privileged site, it was formerly occupied by the Château des Abbés de Lérins. The keep is all that remains of it today and houses the current Musée de la Castre. A 5 minute walk away, the commercial streets of the Rue d’Antibes and the Rue Meyandier burst with colour and excitement from morning to night, making for the perfect shopping experience.

If you want to get away, the Lérins Islands across from the Bay of Cannes and the Massif de l’Estérel are all beautiful. Islands full of legends, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat are two unique gems brimming with natural and cultural heritage. These islands are must-visits on a trip to Cannes.
